Princesses, an atheistic god, two near immortals who have history, a zombie army, and an interesting magic system that involves color can only result in something very interesting happening. Brandon Sanderson’s Warbreaker follows two princesses in a strange land, a grumpy near immortal, and a god t...
An interesting listen and a book that held up very well throughout most of the story. I was not really enamored with the finish which the author was apparently undecided in whether this was the whole story or that there were going to be a series with further books. Recommended for Sanderson fans.

Interesting idea using colour and breath as a basis for magic, just felt a little too much like concept over story. In a world where some people return as better forms of themselves to be able to grant one healing, many use this second chance, where they are treated as gods to indulge themselves, unt...
Amazing. I was only 6% into the book when I started raving to my boyfriend about how good it was. Nothing had really even happened at the time yet I knew this book was going to be phenomenal. I must've been convincing since he started it yesterday.I have come to the conclusion (like many others) tha...
I really struggled with myself over whether to go with 3.5 or 4.0 stars on this one - 3.5 somehow seems to be too few, while 4.0 seems to be too much. I finally settled on 3.5 because I felt that this book, while great, had a few glaring issues, which I think are more accurately reflected by the 3.5...
I want to reduced a bit of a star for such a short epilogue but I can't. I just know that I want more of this. I want to read more. It was the first book of Sanderson that could do this to me. To me, reading a book about 500 pages in english within 4 days is such an amazing speed. Normally, for a bo...
Wow, I loved this. My favorite of Sanderson's stuff so far -- so many excellent plot twists, I couldn't put this book down. I love how much both Lightsong, Siri and Vivenna grow and change by the end of the book -- Siri and Vivenna's role reversal is so well done.
I had a lot of problems with this book, but all in all, it was still pretty awesome. My main problem, aside from Vivenna, was the fact that the whole book was somewhat too predictable. I mean, every element of the plot was divided up into clues and presented as a mystery, but I had everything figured...
Enjoyable read. If you're looking for something light and vibrant that has some religious-political heft and a few lectures on morality, this book is probably you're what looking for. I hesitate to recommend because, although it started off very well, the story was gradually weighed down by too much...
