Moon Knight, and his alter ego, consulting detective Mr. Knight, take on a slasher, a sniper, ghost punks, some kind of nightmare creature, kidnappers, and a cop that wants to replace him.For years, I dismissed Moon Knight as a lame Batman ripoff. After Aaron told me this was the best thing he's r...
And because this series has shown me that, he's quickly become a favorite character. That being said, I five starred the first issue and not the second or third. The first was a little more, and had a little more to it. Karnak philosophizing is all well and good, but it's what he does with his...
Interesting, though I think I would have enjoyed it more if I'd read it when it was new. The art is also great. I'm not sure I recommend this particular edition, though. It took me most of a year to read, not because of the nature of the content, but because this book weighs close to 6 pounds. So ...
I'm not gonna lie: I loved issue one so much, I had high expectations for this. Ellis did something new with Karnak, not one of my favorites of the Inhuman royal family. In fact, I hesitated subscribing to this, but did because of Ellis. Issue one proved to be a thing of wonder, a new look, a...
Not having read some of this for a while and finding it on sale in The Works, I gave it a try. Interesting but sometimes unclear storyline made it engaging and the artwork was good. The plot includes Sentinels, the Brood, a new villain called Kaga. Thoroughly enjoyable.
It's getting a little more action-packed, and I think I don't know enough about Annihilus to be annoyed by how ripped off he is from the original universe. He's never held that much appeal for me, so I don't pay that much attention him. Maybe he's different here: he was vicious and clever, and ...
Doom is the focus, and he is cray-cray. It also makes this take a little more enjoyable, and while it still wasn't that original, I just didn't mind. I guess Doom is awesome no matter what universe he's in, then.
Interesting concept. Lots and lots of set-up. Not sure if I'm as excited to continue with this series.... and just the fact that I'm questioning it, makes me know that I'm not.
So first of all, I don't have this cover - the Hip Hop one? I have this cover which I like much more. Secondly, Karnak isn't exactly changed. Or the parts of him that are make sense: he's been dead, and come back, and he was never the huggable one of the group. The starkness, though, is a littl...
