I have to admit, I wasn't expecting such an intense read.I loved every bit if it. It starts slow but still intense, so it may be hard to get into but after a while, one you start caring about the characters and plot, everything balances out perfectly. This deserves it place as a top graphic novel.
First graphic novel I ever read. Freaking amazing!!! I couldn't put it down. I felt like I was watching a movie when I was reading this, and that isn't something that happens with all graphic novels. If you aren't into graphic novels, READ THIS.
Just finished this again over the weekend in preparation and excitement for the upcoming movie. A true work of art. There's no way the movie can match the book, being as literary a comic as this is, but I'm still excited to see what the movie makes of it.
I liked V for Vendetta much better, but this was still really good.
This is one of the finest examples out there of the vast potential of the super-hero genre. Each episode is followed by a few pages of prose, giving greater depth to the characters.
