I have to admit, I wasn't expecting such an intense read.I loved every bit if it. It starts slow but still intense, so it may be hard to get into but after a while, one you start caring about the characters and plot, everything balances out perfectly. This deserves it place as a top graphic novel.

This is one of the finest examples out there of the vast potential of the super-hero genre. Each episode is followed by a few pages of prose, giving greater depth to the characters.
Too stark. What is it about a graphic novel that I have difficulty with? I can't seem to take it seriously somehow. Graphic novels seem to lend themselves more to humor ...
