I can't believe how much I enjoyed this book. When I heard the premise for the book and had to read it for my live book club, I rolled my eyes. I was dead wrong though..I love the way the story unwrapped and lessons learned of the main character, Alice, as to the woman she has become and then how sh...

Review first published on my blog: http://memoriesfrombooks.blogspot.com/2012/05/what-alice-forgot.htmlWhat if you woke up one day and part of your life was missing? That is what happens to Alice. This book started out with such a great premise. Alice falls during a class at the gym and when she regains consciousness, she has forgotten the last 10 years of her life. She believes herself to be happily married and pregnant with her first child. What she has forgotten is that she has had 3 ch...

Couldn't make it past the first few pages of horrid, disjointed writing. Since I didn't finish it, I didn't feel as though it would be fair to rate it.

This book was actually like 3 stories in one. You have Alice's story, her sister Elizabeth and her grandmother Frannie's.I loved this book. Can you imagine how you'd feel if you fainted and came to but lost the last 10 years of your life? You don't remember anything from that time. You don't even re...

Was machst du, wenn dir 10 Jahre fehlen? ...

I thought this was a very well written and thought out novel. It is hard-hitting in the sense that it confirms that ones memory is ever so important yet incredibly fragile. It allowed me to reflect on the things in life that I may have taken for granted.

I enjoyed this book. I would have given it three and a half stars if I knew how. It was an easy fast read and mostly good although I do agree it was a bit drawn out. I would recommend this for the kind of light reading I enjoy.

This book touched on so many emotions that I feel on a daily basis. And it struck close to home so much that I was sure I would burst out into a fit of hiccuping tears to the total confusion of my husband at any given moment. I found myself hugging my husband at every chance, I wanted so badly to gr...
