Romance's are so difficult to review, because part of their appeal are that they're predictable. Even though I knew exactly where this was going, I found myself staying up to read much later than I should, and I think for that reason alone the book deserves a high rating. But it was also entertainin...
A History Nut's Romantic State of Mind
Why did this book get so many good reviews?? I have been struggling with this book for more than 2 weeks now and cannot get past 70%. Worst thing is the heroin. I detest a spoiled heroin. I also do not buy that she has a kind heart. And I think the only reason the hero is attracted to her is because...

Light frothy historical romance. The H and h verbally spar with wit and intelligence whilst trying to fight their growing attraction. A sweet and charming read, delivers on the HEA.

Interesting take on a fairy tale. Light-hearted and entertaining regency romance. Description of a medical outbreak were well done.

I have to say I loved this book. I loved Linnet. I loved Piers. Each is strong and I enjoyed the back and forth between them. I loved how their relationship developed. Beauty and the Beast is my favorite fairy tale. Loved this retelling of it. And those of you who liked the TV show House woul...

The hero in When Beauty Tamed the Beast is based off of the character Gregory House, from the TV show House M.D. This made me unsure about picking up the book. While I love House, I was afraid this would read like really awful fanfiction. Luckily, that wasn't the case. When Beauty Tamed the Beast is...

Well the first half was fantastic and I loved every minute of it , something happened on the second half kinda anticlimax that made it slower and less witty . But it was a good read .

Better than the Cinderella one by far. I don't normally give 5 stars to romance novels but I really enjoyed this one. the characters were real flawed but lovable. the story was a fresh modernization on the beauty and the beast trope. maybe I am bias because I love the premise but I really enjoyed it...

3.5 Good HR. Loved the banter between the H and h. It was obvious that the Dr. was modeled after House, even before getting to the notes at the end. Will def check out more books from this author, I liked the witty style of her writing.
