For a novella, it was pretty good. Sure the ending was a bit of a whirlwind, bit mostly the characters were very well built and dimensional.
When we touch is basically a prequel to the Whiskey Creek series. Olivia the betrayed sister is forced to plan the wedding for her sister Noelle that stole away her boyfriend Kyle of one year. An outrageous situation but not unrealistic. I'm sure we've all heard of some girl stealing her best friend...
Received this novella for free via the author as part of a promotion. I am reading the Whiskey Creek stories out of order, and this one is a nice diversion that could be read rather quickly. It's a familiar trope (mean sister, ex-boyfriend hot mess) full of romantic tension. Works as a nice setup to...
