I didn't like this book at all. Maybe I just didn't get it. Boring, pointless and it just ends - I didn't even realize it was the last page at first (I read it on a kindle). I kept thinking I must have hit the wrong button; that couldn't be the end. Weird.

I read this in my freshman lit course which was themed "apocalyptic literature." I remember almost nothing about it, but I'm adding it to remind me to give it another go.
I don't think I'm a Don DeLillo person. I liked this pretty well, and I definitely laughed aloud many times as I read it, but it doesn't wow me like Rushdie or some Phillip Roth or the other things I've rated as 5.
