Good enough. It's considerably less depressing than the first series, which was hilarious for the first few books. It's also a more satisfying mystery.

Our main character, somewhat cryptically dubbed Snicket by the author, is a detective in training. Who asks all the wrong questions. And still manages to solve the mysteries. Nothing but fun.

I was a huge fan of A Series of Unfortunate Events, and all I really wanted from Who Could That be at This Hour? was more of the same. Mr. Snicket can do no wrong as far as his writing and my enjoyment of it are concerned. Re-read in December 2013. Still good.
