This will probably be my first and possibly second last Gena Showalter book (I'm planning to read Alice in Zombieland). I'm not a huge fan of the writing or the characterization.

This book, was a disappointment for me, though as a fan of the Lords of the Underworld series, I was really looking forward to reading Zacharel story. I found that the story had lots of lengths and repetitions, and to put it simply, maybe what worked for me with the LOTU unfortunately didn't here.
