The author's style works quite well to bring us along on Antoinette's descent into madness. I thought it worked somewhat less well in the 'Mr. Rochester' section, but perhaps I'm biased by my adoration for Mr. Rochester.An interesting read for Jane Eyre fans.

Interesting descent into madness... It all seemed so dismal, from beginning to end. Regardless, it's worth just reading for the beautiful imagery and colorful language.
