I enjoyed the opening sequence, but I missed the first line. This series is known for having great first lines that stand on their own. Simply, but catchy. This one was just okay. I miss the great first line - "My name is Gin and I kill people."Anyway...I like that Estep isn't afraid to give you an ...
Exciting, riveting, a really fun read in Jennifer Estep's Elemental Assassins series. I had stopped reading this series about a year ago. I loved the world, the characters, the stories – however the books were rife with repetition, especially the characters’ eye colors. The repetition was so distrac...
I just love this series. Gin Blanco is the coolest heroine around and her sidekicks and family and friends are great, too. This one involves also a little jealousy and great drama - loved it.
I have mixed feelings about this book. I wasn't feeling the storyline in the end. It didn't feel true to the characters. Since when is Owen so blind? Because this was a matter of the heart—and one problem that all my knives and all my ...
There’s trouble in Gin’s world, and not just the run-of-the-mill come-kill-the-assassin variety either. This time, matters of the heart are involved, because who should show up in Ashland but the former love of Owen’s life?Salina Dubois has returned, after years of planning and plotting, to take ove...
