I enjoyed this one more than Spells. It was great to have Tamani in a bigger role. The new characters made for an interesting story. I can't wait to read the next one, just to see what happens next.
Actual rating: 2.5 starsAfter reading Spells I have to admit I was not excited to read Illusions. I thought Wings was unique and offered a different spin of your typical Fey story, but Spells fell short for me. However, I'm happy to say, I did enjoy Illusions much better. We begin with Laura at the...
I'm still interested in the series, but this one had a lot of plot lines that went nowhere, the climax didn't build enough, and the resolve was barely there. She left things hanging for the next book, but it wasn't done in a way that would leave an impact on the reader. Because a lot was left until ...
Each book in this series adds a little more to the mythology. In book 1, we learned about fairies and their biology. In book 2, we learned about where the fairies live and their culture. In this book we got to learn a lot about the history of the fairies with some fun references to Shakespeare and K...
Oh, my. If I thought I was going to get any answers in book 3, boy, was I mistaken. I now have more questions than ever! And I have to wait an entire year before I'll get any type of resolution? After that cliffhanger?!? Oh, my.-------------------------------------------------------------------...
Ohmygoodness!!!! This book was soooo good!! and the ending was a dirty little cliffhanger, but it was amaaaazing!!! If you haven't read this series yet you soooo should.
What a cliffhanger!!! Is Juki good or bad? And how the hell does that blossom look like? Maybe I'm overreacting - there are still few anoying things about this series (like she is 17 and acts like little girl), but I'll keep my mouth shut.

Though her heart still aches, Laurel is confident that David was the right choice. But just as life is returning to normal, Laurel discovers that ...
I absolutely adored Wings and Spells. Illusions was no different. It was a fast-paced journey I couldn't put down and I loved it. I have to say, Illusions, had a slightly different feel than the first two. For me at least! Illusions picks up with Laurel beginning her senior year with David, whom she...
