Such a sweet book. I love these fluffy teen reads. They make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. If you are wondering-I am Team Tamani! Yeah go Tamani! Considering Wings is written for younger teen readers I have to say it is pretty good. Actually,it's excellent.
Meh. 3 stars, maybe even 3.5Wings wasn't bad, but the title makes me feel gypped... Like there should have been more intense PNR elements, and the fact that there wasn't means I finished this feeling pretty disappointed, rather then eager to start the next book...in fact at this point I'm still pret...
2.5 stars. So I wasn't completely disliking Wings the way I was half expecting to. It had a very simple, almost elementary start. Once I stopped picking at the writing, I settled in to give the book a fair shot and found myself having fun with the book. It was a fast and fun read, so I can't complai...

This was a tough book to review. I'm a big fan of faerie novels so I tend to think I'm harder on them. Taking that into consideration, I have mixed feelings about Wings. First, I'll tell you what I liked. I enjoyed most the characters and I think that Aprilynne is a good writer. Laurel is someone I'...
Overall, I thought this book was entertaining. It is a little strange that Laurel, the main character, has this plant growing out of her back, but that's this author's take on fairies I guess. And there is the infamous love triangle - Laurel, David, and Tamani. Who will she choose, etc. I wish I had...
