Exciting stuff. I love fantasy! I was not a fan of Kamala in book 1, but here I liked her better. Second book in the trilogy and we get pulled even more deeply into this dark but fascinating world. I love how diverse the characters are, how many shades of grey there are. Can't wait for the unavoidable final battle!

It was. . .okay. I came into it with fairly low expectations, since I didn't think much of Feast of Souls, and it never really rose above them. Realizing I could read it as a Dragonriders of Pern parody did give me some unexpected entertainment, though. I'll probably get the third out of the library...
