Winter's Tale
A breathtaking novel by the author of A Soldier of the Great War, this is a book about the beauty and complexity of the human soul, about God, love, and justice, and yet readers can lose themselves in it as if it were a dream. "A gifted writer's love affair with the language."--Newsday.

Every half-informative sentence sprouts a completely superfluous one:Rum, champagne, cakes, and roasts were everywher...
Disappointing but not awful...it was a little bit out there and hard to follow and the conclusion didn't really tie up all the loose ends with much of an explanation, so I wasn't really satisfied with this book. Although it did hold my attention but ultimately left me disappointed.
