It was culled from her one-person stage show and reads like it. While frequently funny, I didn't really think it gave me any real knowledge about the subject matter or the author. I'm glad she can laugh at herself, but I didn't really get anything three dimensional out of it. Two stars for the jokes...
I really wanted to love this book. I've loved Fisher's novels and knew her real life story rivaled anything she ever wrote. But this work, slim with generously sized print, just seems lacking. Really easy and light read despite the subject matter. It explores the aftermath of Carrie Fishers ECT and turns what others would see as tragedy into a humorous take on life.Really good.
