This was a pretty good book. I liked the characters. Beware though, there is a lot of heavy stuff in it! Beware.

Ms. Bast is a new to me author. She is one I'm enjoying. This story about magic with the elements is appealing. The characters are interesting. I like this world and want to learn more. This story was smooth and I read it in one sitting. I was riveted.
