I always love Shelly Laurenston's shifter books. The always make me laugh. I love the characters, their interactions, and the love stories in each book. It was great to read another story of the Smith family and be introduced to Toni's jackal family.
1.5I'm done. For me this was just a mess. Way too many character cameos from previous books and too many new characters introduced as well. Three or four different storylines to navigate. Some meshed and some didn't. There was the classic pride humour but I found that grating and repetitive.
I swear I have no idea how Shelly Laurenston does it! Pride #8 and she is still rocking these stories! I just know if I am laughing during the first chapter its going to be a good one, if by the middle of the story I am still entranced with whats going on, I know its going to be a great book. And if...
I never thought it’d be so hard to write a review of a book I loved. There is so much going on in this one and it is very funny. I liked all the characters and loved Ricky Lee and Toni. Toni’s family is absolutely, insanely chaotic and hilarious. I was hooked from the first page and stayed up way to...

If you haven’t read The Pride Series: you should hit the nearest book store/library/e-book store and start with The Mane Event! *Note there is also mention of The Magnus Pack and having read t...
Shelly Laurenston happens to be one of my favorite authors! She writes the funniest stories mixed with a little suspense, some romance and a LOT of animal shifters fighting! It’s AWESOME!!Wolf with Benefits is the story of Ricky Lee Reed. One of the most laid back wolf shifters to walk the earth. He...
Laurenston has a great sense of humour and indeed I found myself chuckling on more than one occasion whilst reading this. Now I have to mention something that really interrupted the flow of both the book and my reading. The names of the characters in the Reed family were so similar that I had to thin...
Shelly Laurenston is an auto-buy for me. I love her books, including this one. It was a little busy with the full cast of characters and it was light on the romance. I do wish there had been more chemistry between Toni and Ricky. But, I enjoyed the story overall!
There's a lot going on in this book - lots of characters, lots of action, lots of laughs. It bordered on too much of a good thing for me at times - the whole series is OTT but this one just seemed a bit manic, like it was trying a bit hard. It felt like the book tried to include too many cameos from...
