You can find this, and other reviews, on my blog.Wonder was a really interesting book. This is the story of August, a young boy with severe facial abnormalities, as he goes to school for the very first time. It’s told primarily from the perspective of Auggie himself, with alternating chapters of the...

Jumping on the bandwagon – loved it, absolutely loved it. I laughed, I cried, all that jazz. Funny too, because based on the description (a boy with a severe facial deformity attends school for the first time) I did NOT want to read this. It sounded like the biggest downer or, worse, a goopy feel ...

In one word: Sweet.Wonder is one of the books that make me wonder about things (sorry, I just had to do that). Like—it’s not a particularly groundbreaking tale. In fact, it doesn’t bring much “new” to the table. It’s easy and quick to read, warms hearts, and has a good message. It’s something that a...

"Wonder" really works well in touching the human heart. Here we have a child with an unfortunate condition but he is surrounded by loving family and gains new loving friends. It reminds me of cake. One piece of cake is great, but if you try to eat an entire cake by yourself, you'll get sick. Thi...

This book was not only fabulous but one of a kind. I'm still too emotional to write a review. It's really one the best books I have ever read.

God. This book.I started it yesterday, thinking "Uplifting? Happy? Exactly what I need!"Look where that got me. Crying in my bed at midnight. Not ugly crying, but still.Stupid book.UPDATE (6/6/2014): This is not a necessary update at all, but I just wanted to add that while I was reading [b:Flat-Out ...
