Review in 75 Words or Less: Wondrous Strange is novel that I wanted to love... but didn't. I will admit going into the novel I had pretty high expectations. So it was odd that I noticed right away that something about novel didn't click with me. Had a read too many Faerie books in a shortish period ...

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Kelly was brave and spunky, but not so much so that she lost her femininity. It was romantic without being over the top and it had an element of innocence to it that I loved. There was also humor in there that was a nice surprise. As soon as she found the hors...

I first saw Wondrous Strange on the net while searching for good YA books to read. As soon as I read the excerpt, and being a sucker for faerie books, I just had to get a copy. When I finally got the chance; well, I like the story. But I did not love it as much as the other faerie books i've read. Fi...

I read this one a month ago and again I failed to review it right away, but here we go! This is a Faery story about a girl that doesn't know that she apparently has some Faery blood. I won't say more since everything else would be spoilerish. The story plays in New York and Kelley is a Teenager ( 17...

The cover in this book was what had grabbed me at first, so I decided to pick it up and since I also found the inside flap summary interesting I though 'What the heck, why don't I give it a try?'For me, saying that the book was 'Good' was an understatement. I had read it in a single day because i co...

I truly enjoyed this book. I liked how the author melded Shakespear's Midsummer's Night Dream with the faerie world she created. Kelly Winslow is a faerie princess, raised as a human. Sonny is a human, raised as a changling in the faerie world. They meet in Central Park and sparks fly.

YA book with fairies. This book was not bad and a fast read. Things happened really fast and Kelley took things in stride (no YA whining) yet it almost seemed like most of it was washing over her. It has to be hard as a writer to draw the line between no emotion and too much when it comes to teen...

Wondrous Strange is a debut YA novel in a series by Lesley Livingston. It is a cute and fun story about Kelley, an understudy in an off Broadway production of A Midsummer Night's Dream whose life suddenly begins mirroring her character.I was not as engaged with the story as I hoped. I think for me i...
