Endlich, endlich, endlich. Endlich konnte ich die Trilogie Penryn & the End of Days von Susan Ee weiterlesen. Im Mai letzten Jahres war ich hemmungslos und überschwänglich begeistert vom ersten Band [b:Angelfall|15863832|Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1)|Susan Ee|https://d.gr-assets.com/books...

Gets better, and flows smoothly. I just had to adjust to accept things the way they come without minding the missing details or any far-fetched explanation, like how in a post-apocalyptic scenario you never lack for running water in abandoned houses or how you have a working screen device with you o...

3,5 stars.I didn't like World After as much as Angelfall, but it was still a very good book and I didn't want to put it down. I found it a bit disappointing that the summary revealed so much of the plot, because Penryn and Raffe are not together until the last third of the book.Longer review soon.

I love that this series uses angels less as a symbol of traditional religious mythology, but more as supernatural creatures with their own motivations. And in this book, we get a lot of answers to questions from the first book, but also have all kinds of new questions. It isn't quite as action-packe...

Wow, my memory really sucks. I first read this back in 2013 when it was released, and so far the only thing I am remembering about it, is you know... Pooky Bear. Because let's face it, who can forget such a name
given to a sword?
Also the water "thing
effect" on an...

I received an ecopy of this book via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Susan Ee’s World After was another superb read! I loved this follow up to Angelfall. Ee used an interesting technique to give insight into Raffe–visions provided by the Sword affectionately named Pooky Bear (P.B.) b...

Fear not the curse of the second book here, my friends! I fell in love with the world Susan Ee created in the first book in this series, Angelfall. In World After, I was basically strapped in and forced even deeper into the gritty, terrifying devastation, and I was completely captivated from beginni...

I received this book via NetGalley to give an honest review. We pick up where book one Angelfall left off. Penryn gets her sister back along with her mother but then unfortunately Paige is not the same. The angels did something to her. The streets are no longer active people are disappearing and ...

So here we are once again, I started and finished this book practically in 2 days. Give or take. I knew that this book was going to totally surpass my expectations. It totally sucks you in from the first page till the end. So this book is #2 in the (Penryn and the End of Days) Series. It picks up e...

I just realized I never wrote a review for this book :/ how annoying.well first thing i recall, is that while this book is great it sadly doesn't meet the standard made by the previous book, Angelfall. Angelfall was mind blowing fantastic, this book was just great...see the difference? In Angelfall P...
