Another great fairy tale retelling from Diane Zahler. Even though I have never been too fond of the fairy tale this book is based on, I did enjoy this version of it quite a bit. It was hard to put down, and the supporting cast of characters, once again, were likeable.Full review soon at www.mangam...

It was okay. I am a fan of ASoIaF, so it was cool to see a small snipet of Westeros in a children's story, but it wasn't anything too amazing. ***SPOILER WARNING***I found the end a bit sad. Maybe a bit too sad for the target audience, though I get that he was going for a fable type feel.

Being a "winter child" myself, I was a little disappointed in the ending, but all's good for a children's book. :)

What if one of them grew up as a servant watching her sisters from the kitchen? What...

The Frog Prince is a funny little tale. As most people remember it the princess kisses the frog and he turns into a handsome prince. However, this isn't at all the way of things in the Grimm version. Instead she smashes the little guy up against the wall in a complete fit of fury and disgust. An...

Includes several good stories. The best one being "True Love", a tale about Prince Charming and his brides.
