Another great fairy tale retelling from Diane Zahler. Even though I have never been too fond of the fairy tale this book is based on, I did enjoy this version of it quite a bit. It was okay. I am a fan of ASoIaF, so it was cool to see a small snipet of Westeros in a children's story, but it wasn't anything too amazing. ***SPOILER WARNING***I found the end a bit sad. Maybe a bit too sad for the target audience, though I get that he was going for a fable type feel.
