I liked some of the stuff in this book. The Marvel Zombies universe bit was suitably zombieish and creepy, and the discovery of Namor was a lot of fun for how he messed with Reed. But the art... oh god, the art. I cannot get past how often the characters, especially female characters, look like blow...

This series certainly finished strong. Not that it was really all that necessary, I did enjoy the flashback in the beginning. An attempt to better fill in some backstory involving with Huntress and Batman's absence was appreciated.A lot happens in this fifth and final volume but it never feels rushe...

I don't have much to say about this other than I loved it? X-Men, end of the world, young girl becoming Who She Is, all my most favorite stuff in the world. There were a few characters who were totally unknown to me, so it was a one-hand-on-wikipedia-deal, but that's how we do it these days. ALTHOUG...

I've always wanted to read this, if only for the artwork. It is absolutely beautiful. I was surprised thereafter to find just how much I liked the story and that it finally gave Jean a conclusion and Scott a chance to say good bye and Emma a chance, period. This is my first experience of the 'Supreme Power' characters, and with all the good things I've heard, I expected a lot better, but there was no spark here, not even a fizzle. I've said it elsewhere too, but when Bendis is good he's good, but when he's bad it's depressing. And it's not like this is ...

Pretty cool, and a single panel of a newspaper headline near the end of issue #32 had me laughing out loud. It was perfect. Injustice to the wicked.Anyway, these issues mostly centered on, big surprise with the cover and all, an encounter with a zombie-infested universe. I couldn't believe that Reed...

This was a nice quick read. It's a mobster crime story. Nightwing and Huntress have to prove who is the guilty party, but there is also the attraction between them. Very nice art on the series. Overall, if you like comics, you will probably like this.

I did not like this one as much as the others in the series, but it is still a good series overall. See my short note on it here:[http://gypsylibrarian.blogspot.com/2006/08/short-booknotes-on-graphic-novels-5.html]
