A very entertaining manga version of the already very amusing novel. As is the norm with mangas, everyone looked a bit young, but I really enjoyed the drawing style and thought the adaptation was very well done.

When you have read something it is kind of weird to see it, in this case, drawn. Things looked so much different from what I had already imagined in my head from reading the book. Still, it was a very enjoyable experience. Well captured.

Dayum. I love the artwork in this book. Heck, I feel like I need to go back and re-read Soulless (my thoughts) because I think I might have been way too hard on the original book version now after enjoying this so much. I linked my review for the book because I'm not going to refresh my review for t...
Reading, Writing and Being Generally Awesome
That was seriously awesome. Maybe one of my favorite mangas yet! This is gonna be a great adaptation series. It works so well! And oh, how I have missed Conall and Alexia! All of the characters are exactly as I saw them in my head.NEED MOAR. Don't make me wait until November! I can't wait to see how...

While I was reading this I encountered a problem that I did not foresee. I knew to expect all the normal plot, character, and story elements that this type of story would willingly provide, but I didn't realize I was going so soft. I wanted to give this book a pass, despite the fact that it offered ...

I loved seeing this other side of Raven and Alexander's story. Since I'm reading the series, I HAD to check out the manga. Getting to meet Claude and his gang was.. unexpected. ;PAnd seeing Raven's (gorgeous) outfits was fun too. I can't wait to get Volume 2! :D

As a general rule I do not enjoy graphic novels. I would much prefer reading a full length novel than a graphic novel, even those created from my favorite books (none which have been done successfully in my opinion). And while I've never read a manga version I have seen them in the bookstore and per...

Being a huge fan of the steampunk paranormal Parasol Protectorate series I was eager to see what this was like. Naively, I expected the pictures to be in color (I’ve since learned manga isn’t usually), and I was hoping to see Ivy’s hats and Lord Akeldama’s tastefully flamboyant wardrobe in their ful...

Love the art. The plot-loved before. Love how they conveniently cut out the...more...adult...scenes. And managed to cover up...certain...parts...of Maccon. Points to Rem for making Lyall even cuter and more huggable than he was in my mind before.
