They’ll change her life. She’ll change their world.

The days of pitched battles to win the hand of one of Lurra’s very few women may be over, but as the top fighters in the ceremonial, gladiator-style games, Mikolaus always assumed that he and his triad—including his triad-brothers Domiku and Luken—would settle down with a traditional Lurran girl.

Until the day he meets Hannah.

She’s eager enough to learn about Lurra, but despite her attraction to the culture and Mikolaus, he’s not sure he can get her to reconcile her Earth-2 upbringing with Lurra’s strict ideas about marriage.

Not alone, anyway.

Maybe together, his triad can convince her that marriage should be between one woman … and three men.

Mikolaus is book one in the Seduced by the Gladiators by Margo Bond Collins. This is more a serial then a series.

In a far off future earth sent out colonists to distant worlds. Over time they lost contact with some of these colonies. Now contact has been reestablished with Lurra. On Earth 1 everything is just plan and you have your roles. On Earth 2 we have a society that is gladiator style with women as the leaders. They where delta a devastating blow and to survive they set up a system of triads, three men to one woman. It’s interesting and intriguing this new society and structure.

Not everyone fits into this social structure and they are considered outcasts. There is enough of a suspense plot to keep your attention; besides the building romance.

In this story we get one of the three males our lead heroine, Hannah, is thinking of bonding with. Mikolaus and Hannah are appealing and the sexy bits are exciting. The whole plot revolves around Hannah being attracted to and getting it on with Mikolaus and his triad brothers. The story ends abruptly when Hannah is introduced to the other two brothers in the triad. It looks like each book represents one of the three males Hannah is to commit too.

We are left hanging on what is going to go on with the outcasts and no explanation as to why or how the earths lost communication between each other.

Mikolaus was enjoyable. Not sure if I’ll read on. I did liked it, but it lacked in areas.

Rated: 3 Stars

Hunks to the Rescue: 15 Hot Contemporary Romance Novellas
Hunks to the Rescue: 15 Hot Contemporary Romance Novellas - Margo Bond Collins,Trish McCallan,Krista Ames,Raine English,Tamara Ferguson,Aileen Harkwood,Lynda Haviland,Jody A. Kessler,Katie O'Sullivan,Constance Phillips,Stephanie Queen,Emily Wilder
Even bad boys need love too. Hunks to the Rescue steps from the fire into the frying pan. Six degrees of separation leads to various degrees of hotness. All worthy of a five star fire alarm.

Destiny's Secret - Raine English takes a walk on the supernatural side. Her hottie investigator and not so nice resident lead to some hauntingly tempting activities. (3 stars)

Coaching the Sub by Debbie White - Tame enough not to offend, yet saucy enough to bring on a secret grin. Coaching the Sub teeters spicy and mild. Shannon and Brock deliver a shocking performance that titillates, aggravates and stimulates the senses. Ms. White has a hidden naughty side after all. (4.5 stars)

Path to Grace by Wilder and Quinn - Matteo is tall, dark and dangerous. Three traits Carina can do without, but will she be able to survive the burning attraction that is calling her name or the danger of the target on her back? (3 stars)

Something more
Happily Ever Alpha: Falling for the Billionaire - Victoria Pinder,Jina Bacarr,Opal Carew,Eileen Cruz Coleman,Margo Bond Collins,Rossie Cortes,Tara Crescent,Michele de Winton,Blaire Edens,Nicole Garcia,Erin Hayes,Courtney Hunt,Mary Hughes,Sydney Logan,Alix Nichols,Tierney O'Malley,Peter Presley,Mandy

Happily Ever Alpha: Falling For The Billionaire is an anthology of 20 erotic stories about hot men, who have too much money.  This makes finding a wife even harder.  How do you know she is with you for you and not your bank account?

Because there were so many books inside, I chose Finding Mrs, Right by Debbie White to review.  What was the best part, is that Gabe is honestly trying to find "the one."  His friends fix him up, he meets many women and asks them out, and there are certainly complications.

It just is such a sincerely funny and sweet story.  I enjoyed seeing him try to find the best of the choices he meets.  Good read and honest picture of what trying to find someone can be like.  I give this story a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Audio Book Review: Under Her Skin
Under Her Skin - Margo Bond Collins

*This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of AudiobookBlast dot com, at my request.

Lindi knows she's a weresnake, but has never meet other shifters until one night when an abused child kills her step-father. While at the hospital with the young girl, Lindi meets Dr. Kade Nevala and feels a strong sensation from him. A mix of danger and attraction. Kade is to kill Lindi's kind, but something about Lindi stops him. More children are found dead, and Lindi who's a child counselor must work with Dr. Kade to find the connection and killer before more children are found dead.

I found Emma was easy to listen to. Her voice clear and delicate. Though, when needed Emma had a hard sound to her voice, working with the emotions that Lindi would be feeling in the moment. In the moments romance shines, Emma has a soft, sensual voice to fill the moment with emotion.

This story is a romance, but also much more than that with murders and kidnappings that are connected to Lindi, and shifters.

I enjoyed listening to Lindi learning about the world she never knew existed, the shifters. But what she learns about her breed of shifters looks bad for her. There is a whole history between the snake shifters and all others. Lindi had no idea and is nothing like those that are similar to her. The story shows this difference and holds Lindi to her nature.

Mmm. Kade. Seeing him through Lindi's eyes is wonderful. Lindi feels the attraction from the beginning but knows there's something dangerous about him. That would be the shifter side of him, what he shifts into and is to do for the clan could be trouble for her. But the attraction is felt on both sides and we see the romantic tension between the two.

There are many children that have been recently found dead and Lindi is determined to help solve what's happened to them, before others are killed. She does try to get help when she's drawn to areas of potential danger, but more concerned for the children she goes anyway. I liked that she tries to get help, but that she wants the children safe so goes ahead anyway.

It's a quick story but full of time with Lindi and Kade to grow the feelings of attraction between them and solve the cases at hand. Also, for Lindi to get into trouble.

Margo draws my attention in her blend of romance and story along with keeping the characters on track for what they are working toward. Of course the story has a HEA though, which is nice to know.
