Regarding that rant about education. . . . .

I could offer a critique of the writing, the mixed tenses, and the not-quite-right word choices.  I could, but I'm not going to.

No, I'm going to be a real bitch and point out just one thing:

Alumnus is the Latin word for "foster son," and as such is commonly used to designate a graduate of a college or university.  Alumni is the plural form for male graduates.

Alumna is the feminine form, "foster daughter," and refers today to a female graduate of a college or university.  The feminine plural is alumnae.

It is grammatically impossible to be "a ... alumni."

I knew this because I am educated.  (One year high school Latin.)

Suzanne Dome Shows Why A Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Waste

And yet another self-entitled SPA bitching about readers having the nerve to leave reviews instead of... critiques.  Suzanne Dome lays out concisely and clearly just how stupid all these readers are.  She oughta know, after all- she's EDUCATED!

Have some paper towels handy to wipe up your coffee with.  That should tell you something.
