It was supposed to be mankind’s crowning achievement. Earth’s first faster-than-light spaceship, engineered to unlock the mysteries of the universe by compressing travel time between star systems from years to a matter of seconds. The world watched with baited breath as the maiden voyage of the Thundercat was about to make history. But when it’s faster-than-light engine engaged, it disappeared, and was never heard from again.Now, a rescue team has been assembled to follow in it’s footsteps and attempt to figure out what happened to the Thundercat and its crew. Against the wishes of Earth’s governments, they plan to re-enact the circumstances under which the ship disappeared, fully knowing they may not survive the process. But as they engage their engines, something strange happens. Their navigation systems are instantly re-routed, and they travel to an undiscovered planet, so far away from Earth, it is impossible for them to figure out where they are.And they are not alone.The planet is surrounded by a graveyard of spaceships who have attempted faster-than-light travel, including the Thundercat. The ships have all been abandoned, and the only clue the crew has to go off of is a strange signal coming from the planet.
