An exciting conclusion to what has been a great series. The one does not disappoint with great characters and an excellent story line.5 Stars and a must read Steven King!!!
Yep. Giving this one 5 stars. Not just entirely for this one alone, but for the Bill Hodges Trilogy as a whole. What a great series. King is the king at character development and you can really “feel” it with this series of books. Each very good separately, they really shine as a whole. Damn, King i...
Synopsis: The spectacular finale to the New York Times bestselling trilogy that began with Mr. Mercedes (winner of the Edgar Award) and Finders Keepers—In End of Watch, the diabolical “Mercedes Killer” drives his enemies to suicide, and if Bill Hodges and Holly Gibney don’t figure out a way to stop ...
Now that I've stopped weeping like child at a funeral, I believe I can review this one as well as speculate on the future of Stephen King's career. Let's do this.To the surprise of some, I was a huge fan of Mr. Mercedes. The book was fresh, a nice change of direction, and it showed King's love for t...
As with all of Stephen King’s collections, I’m giving each story a one-sentence review. Before we begin, I would like to say a few things that have little to do with this book’s contents. If you do not care for personal stories in reviews, you should take this chance to move along, or you may scroll...

I understand that some people may ...
Some brilliant stories in here. My favorites were Riding the Bullet, Autopsy Room 4, and the Dark Tower story was awesome as well. There was 1 or 2 misses, but overall he's still the King.
Not bad, but definitely not the most interesting of Stephen King books. His later short story collections, like Just After Sunset, are more engaging and the stories in them feel more fleshed out. Still, this is an interesting read.
I have seriously come to wish for a book of King's that I don't like. Really now, my obsession reaches higher measures with every freaking page. Short stories - aren't they delightful? Little "kisses in the dark from a stranger", as Stephen calls them. They are the binding of the literary world; the...
I've been reacquainting myself with Stephen King recently. Especially reading story after story in anthologies as well as his novels, certain things come through I like--and dislike about the author when I read these "14 dark tales." First, unsurprisingly, King's all about horror. And fine, you kn...
