Some things in life really confuse me—and other things really scare me. It's not often that two things combine to terrify me and confuse me in equal measure.

What terrifies me? Narrow seats on airplanes, turnstiles at amusement parks (I will never get over being stuck in one for ten minutes with a crowd taking turns to have selfies taken with me). And blood. I hate the sight of blood—and the idea of giving blood give me the total heebie jeebies.

But Max said I had to have real challenges on my bucket list, so off to the blood bank I went, attracted by the cookie I’d be given after I donated.

Blood & cookies? A confusing combination.
