Very strong collection of weird stories, particularly "20th Century Ghost" and "The Black Phone." Low on gore, high on well-written characters placed in vivid situations, reading this was like finding long lost Twilight Zone episodes.

An amazingly strong collection of stories. I love them because they all have actual plots, and some of them are particularly chilling. I hope that Hill continues to publish stories, as well as novels, he's just so good at it.
