Who doesn't like cookies? Not many people I would guess. Because of that we decided a cookie recipe book would be just the thing in the Chef’s Choice Recipes range of books. The first problem we had was where to start. I suspect the biggest problem you will have is to know when to stop! These recipes are absolutely delicious, very moreish, and you will want to keep on dipping into the cookie barrel.We have tried to keep things simple, included a few recipes that are a little more unusual, but you will be able to manage them all. We have reproduced these recipes to our own tastes, but you can adjust where your health requires it. For instance; substituting olive oil spread for butter would make the cookies a healthier option. Where a recipe calls for the use of sugar, always remember that whatever the measurement, e.g. 1 cup make sure the sugar is packed into the cup and not loose. We always give a guide to try and give some indication of how much will be produced and in this case how many cookies the recipe will make. This will depend largely on how generous you are with your portions. Here is where you come in. Your feedback on this aspect is very welcome.
