This being the second book in The Ice & Fire Series, we are reunited with characters from the first book. Like the first book there is dark clouds hovering above the families fighting for the right of the iron throne. Now the book does pretty much cover everything that is in the series. There are...

Ahhh what can I say? It's good. I loved it. My hubs and I started watching the show as I was reading the books (never getting ahead of the books, of course.) The books are so much better, in my humble opinion, but hubs seems to be loving the show, so whatever. It's all awesomeness. But in lieu of ...

3 starsThank goodness I bought this book (and the full series) using 1 Malaysia book voucher. It was a torture to finish. Too damn long.

If I'm going to do a lot of these, I'll have to start adding fan fiction as well. For years I mostly read those. So I picked this books, because it has two rebels in it. One is Arya Stark. She's the younger daughter of Ned, and a real tomboy. While her mother and sister are horrified by this, her ...

I think I've said this before, but it's really hard to write a good sequel when the first book is amazing. That being said, this is one of very few that there wasn't that problem. While it did drag in a few places (while I like Jon Snow as a character, some of his chapters were really slow, and I ...
