This book deal with the story of Satrapi's great-uncle. It is a very good novella in graphic form about the power of love.

When I decided that it was finally time to get around to reading book two of the Persepolis series I did not think I would end up giving the book only two stars. A sever difference compared to the first book, which I gave four stars and absolutely loved reading. As I was reading Persepolis 2 it becam...

It's impossible for me to dislike anything Satrapi's created but this beautifully told and illustrated tale was spoiled by my intense dislike of the protagonist.

An excellent graphic novel! While it is sad, I found it intriguing and found myself in a lot of it's pages. Definitely one of the best adult graphic novels I have ever read!Pick this one up!

I found life in Iran during ...

Another great graphic novel from Marjane Satrapi. An easy read that can be read on your commute home from work. This book provides an enlightening and humorous look into the sex lives of Iranian women. This book shows how different Iranian customs are, but also shows how similar all women are no ...

If you read Persepolis 1 you are pretty much compelled to pick up the second because it leaves you with such a cliffhanger. To sum up - after years of struggling to fit in in a rigid and oppressive Iran Marjane's parents decide to send her to Vienna for a better chance at life. Book one ends as Mar...

I recommend this book, and it's predecessor, to everyone. I loved it. Satrapi tells her story with honesty and humor. Gave me all the feels.
