Before i start my review i would like to say two things. 1. A big thank you to Mike Mullin for sending me a copy of this amazing book 2. This is my first book review...ever. Im delighted that i get to write a review about the work of an author that i admire so much. So please, bare with me if i get ...
Awesome, although I'm not impressed by some of Alex's choices. So many vile things happen in this book O_OFull review here: http://www.booksofamber.com/2012/10/ashen-winter-by-mike-mullin.html----It's hard to pull off a sequel when the first book is so brilliant, but Mike Mullin pretty much did it. ...
Better than the first! *pumps fists in the air*Badass group review here: http://badassbookreviews.com/group-discussion-and-review-ashen-winter-by-mike-mullin/
Ok one word sums up this book and thats Epic!! Ashen Winter starts about 6 months after Ashfall ends and from the first chapter we are taken on a roller-coaster ride. I was on the edge of my seat reading it, there were so many twists and turns that my jaw was hitting the floor and I was gasping and ...

But after looking at the blurb, I was not too sure that Ashen Winter would live up to new expectations that I had for this series.Ashen Winter takes place a few months after the events of ...
I absolutely LOVE this series. As far as the dystopian style books go, Ashen Winter continues where Ashfall left off and is believable scenario that thrills and terrifies. Really. I'm growing kale.
Reviewed at http://www.mandikayereads.com/archives/2470 (8/31/12)Sophomore slump? Move along, nothing to see here.If anything, this one was better than the first. The world Alex and Darla live in is far bleaker than the world we were introduced to in Ashfall. Refugee camps filled with "inmates", gang...
Of all the books coming out this year, Ashen Winter was one that I was most anticipating. I finished Ashfall just a few months ago and just couldn't wait to continue this trilogy. So, I was very excited to see that Mr. Mike Mullen was signing at BEA a couple of weeks ago. I started reading just abou...
