I know what it’s like to be an Austen fangirl. I may not be as extreme as Jane Hayes, but there are days when I wish I could build my own boyfriend instead of dealing with real guys—you know, like a Build-A-Bear, or a Mr. Potato Head. I went into Austenland hoping for a run romp through Regency Eng...

Easy to read, not too light or too heavy. Love the happy ending!

This was SUPER adorable. Yes, it's chick lit, but it was pretty cute how it meshed both the historical period and current day -- totally Regency House Party in book form. It was lovely how it referenced Jane Austen both in plot and prose, but it has enough character to stand on it's own.

Very silly, very fun. The perfect book to read while recovering at home from a hospital visit.

As a truly devoted (almost obsessive) Austen-fan I have read more Austen-fanfiction than I would like to admit. And I have often been left outraged by authors who have ripped Austen's delightful stories apart, leaving only a vague resemblance to the original Mr. Darcy and his charm. In this case, ho...

I actually wasn't expecting the ending. Took a bit to get through though. On to the next!

I promise you - I promise you - that this the last Jane Austen/Pride and Prejudice spin off for at least six months. At least. But Austenland is much different from any other P&P spin off that I've read before. There is no Lizzy/Darcy re-tellings and re-imaginings, and no weird time travel that spit...
