Why I waited almost five months after the release of I Hunt Killers by Barry Lyga to finally pick it up and read it, I have no idea. I had been anticipating it for months before its release and knew it would be something I loved (seriously – who doesn’t enjoy a good serial killer?). All that waiting...

I don’t have a ton to say about this. It’s funny and smart and scary and heartbreaking and…I don’t know. I just really enjoyed reading it.My only complaints are about the mystery surrounding the Impressionist, the serial killer Jasper is hunting. The sections from his (the killer’s) POV were both...

Funny, but a bit disturbing. I was less interested in the mystery part, then the psychological fallback of being raised by a serial killer.

See this review and more posted at my blog Take Me Away... If I could, I would have my review say this and this only: "Read this f&%$%$g book! NOW!" But since I know you all are expecting a real review, here goes.... Jazz is a teen who learned a lot from his dad. Normally people would s...

Original review: http://onabookbender.com/2012/10/03/review-i-hunt-killers-by-barry-lyga4.5Oh, Jazz! You have wooed me with your sociopathic ways and your desire not to be the person your father groomed you to be. I Hunt Killers is the type of book that grips the line between murderer and non-murder...

Holy YA Batman. This book completely shattered all expectations I had before picking it up. I've always been a bit intrigued by serial killers, morbid as that may seem. It's something about the cold and calculating personas that they have one moment, while having the ability to blend into normal soc...

Courtesy of Smash Attack ReadsInterest in Book: This was the August choice for my rocksauce book club. I am not sure I was even aware of it before then, but I am super happy that it fell in my lap. It was pleasantly morbid and I enjoyed the psychopathology aspect of it all. Maybe I should work with ...

From LectusWarning: this review has a little bit of spoiler at the end. That said, I love books about serial killers; therefore I had to read this one.Not much is given in the synopsis but that Jasper is the son of the world’s most notorious serial killer. That is enough to make you think that he g...
