Reread 2/26. Gorgeous art, solid writing. I'm not sold on the Circus of Crime (supervillains, eh), but Kate Kane's backstory is terrific. The coloring is also notable: black, white, and red for the Batwoman scenes, autumnal Mucha shades for Kate's civilian life, a little extra fading for childhood...
Damn these new Batwoman graphic novels are so beautiful. Find me a Batman novel as well drawn out and colored as these... I want one like it.. Will be finding more comics/novels drawn by the same artist, this work is downright amazing.
