The world now lies divided not amongst political or geographic boundaries but amongst financial ones.
Wealth is power, and that power rests now with only a handful of Families. The few who provide a service for their ruling Family are cared for.
All others are Waste.
In each Family, there is one person given the best they can offer, training and technology and assets, every scientific advantage. This person is named their Family's sword and shield, their protector, their Lazarus.
In the Family Carlyle, the Lazarus is called Forever.
This is the beginning of her story.

3.0 Lazarus, Vol. 1
I got this one on a whim. Why? Because the cover is REALLY cool. I love the artwork of it and it made me want to know more about the woman on the cover. She also reminded me of a character of mine that I created in high school and have started to revisit. So yeah, A+ for the cover. It's amazing. U...

4.0 Lethal Weapon
A promising idea and a promising series! In a post-apocalyptic society, select few families own all the resources, including land and supplies and people. The families have Lazaruses to protect them. My understanding is that a Lazarus is a genetically engineered human that has modifications that allo...

3.5 Lazarus, Vol. 1 by: Michael Lark (author) Greg Rucka (author)
An intriguing start to a dystopian series that left me wanting to find out more. It starts off strong and just keeps going, with artwork that seemed (appropriately) slightly gritty.
