We are a couple from the UK who go backpacking and detail our adventures in the form of a travel blog. In this blog we fly from Manchester to Hong Kong, venture over the Chinese land border at Shenzhen; visit some new family connections in the little unknown town of Chaozhou, before flying north to Beijing.From Beijing we head west over to Chengdu, before entering the Tibetan Plateau. We arrive in Lhasa and trek overland to Mount Everest Base Camp, before heading back to the UK via Nepal and Turkey.
