Finally picked up my first Marissa Meyer book after rave reviews from friends and fellow #bookstagrammers and it did not disappoint! Seriously impressive world-building, with deep commitment to the dystopian future China cyberpunk setting. Novel, easily recognizable, and thoroughly interwoven. Lov...

This book has been coming across my suggested list for the last, what 6 years? I've put it on and taken it off my TBR list so many times. I don't know why I resisted, but when it was picked for me for a challenge, I thought that was the push I needed. It is great, action-packed YA. It was a lot of ...

Sixteen-year-old Cinder is considered a technological mistake by most of society and a burden by her stepmother. Being cyborg does have its benefits, though: Cinder's brain interference has given her an uncanny ability to fix things (robots, hovers, her own malfunctioning parts), making her the best...

Cinder had been on my radar for a long time, and I finally made it a priority on my reading list. Full review on my blog.Meh. I was excited about this for a long time, and a few times I almost bought the rest of the series because I was so sure I would love it. I’m glad I didn’t buy the rest before I read this one, because I’m not sure I’ll finish this series.I was expecting more from this book....

I am at a loss of words with this book. Where do I start? That it’s a fantastic somewhat retelling of Cinderella with a futuristic twist that includes cyborgs, other planetary beings, and a couple that you want together so freaking bad you can feel the sparks fly but when they’re so close they take ...

EDITED REREAD REVIEW--April 2020:So, as I wanted to read Scarlet (the reason I even started this series ;D) I finally decided to reread Cinder...I almost never reread, but with this one I'm really glad I did! While I still didn't 'love' it, and it was a bit flat at the start, I enjoyed it much more ...
