I just reread this short from Curran's point of view. Oh, I love it. This is such a great look at what it really means to be the Beast Lord and what it really mean to be his mate. This is a must read for fans of this series.

Short story. 20 pages. Before I realized that Ilona Andrews is actually a husband and wife duo, I saw these short stories and thought, "Ugh, why does he think he can write too?" Well, if he truly wrote these full short stories, he is a very good writer. Loved it.
