This one took me forever to finish. I don't know what it was. Maybe the world building, I just wasn't that into the particular world that was on page. The characters were decent enough. I'd put the book down and not have the desire to pick it up again.
It took me a while to warm up to Rachel Morgan, but once I did, I really enjoyed this book. It's a really good start to (another) new series. I can't wait to find out what Rachel Morgan gets into next!
