When Rachel Morgan, a Inderland Security employee, decides to quit her job as a runner and go into business for herself, she finds herself on the wrong side of the law.I'll admit that I wasn't thrilled with the first few chapters of this book. I didn't care for the main character (too snarky) or th...

I really wanted to like Dead Witch Walking as I have heard the series really takes off around book three. But after book one I'm not so sure I will be making it that far. The writing was one of my main turn-offs as it was choppy and excessively detailed without truly adding to the story. An editor w...

This had lots of tense moments in it and some wing-nut characters. It took me a while to warm up to them, especially the pixie, but I came to like them by the end. I like the setup of lots of conflict to come and I'll definitely be reading on in the series.

This is my 2nd time reading this book and i found it to be just as neat as the first time around. Writing is good and its mostly fast paced. I enjoyed it a great deal.

I don't have a whole lot of tolerance for modern paranormal chick-lit. There are far to many well-written novels starring strong female protagonists to waste time with the pablum that is being sold as fantasy these days. The sad part is the good novels are getting harder to find...Anyway - I was rea...

I wasn't excepting to love this book! But i do!I felt the vibes of Anita Blake series but in a more subtle way and without any romantic pretension. Rachel Morgan, a young and sexy witch, struggles to keep her life off knifes, fairy, vampires and even demons.Life would be easier if Rachel Morgan didn't...

When I first started this book I couldn't get into it. Usually, if I'm really into a book, I'll finish it in a day or two. It took my almost 2 weeks to read this. Once I actually got into it though, about half way through, I really liked the characters and couldn't put it down. The copy I have is a ...

This was pretty good, after Trent came into the storyline everything flowed. Will definitely continue this series.
