Incredibly powerful storytelling with a consistent tone despite the 18 different authors. One of the best contemporary books I've ever read, and highly recommended. Each story is very well written, and while told from different perspectives, keeping the story straight is easy because of the quality ...

2.5 starsThis just did not work for me. I can't help but think that a huge banking conglomerate would have a better solution for deadweight borrowers than having them assassinated, or forcing them to be assassins. Meh, I didn't care for HIT.

This one was a hard-to-put-down, crazy fantasy that made me wish I could read it again for the first time. Those are few and far between. The heroine finds an enchanted locket that transports her to an alternate reality where bunnies can strip your bones and clockworks replace modern technology. S...
