This was far more enjoyable than the previous volume in the series. Appropriate pace, and the hopping around to different POVs wasn't nearly as confusing as it has been.

In the 1970s, a BBC radio serial was a surprise hit with a combination of humor and science fiction, eventually this spawned more radio serials, a TV show, even a Hollywood produced film, but also a series of books by creator Douglas Adams. The Ultimate Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy contains the...

‘On prehistoric Earth he had lived in a cave, not a nice cave, a lousy cave, but... there was no but. It had been a totally lousy cave and he had hated it. But he had lived in it for five years which made it home of some kind, and a person likes to keep track of homes. Arthur Dent was such a person ...

I'm just gonna put quotes here that I liked."I beg your minuscule pardon?""It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes."

I’m not really sure about this book. At first I was going to suggest that it didn’t have any point but then again this is a part of the Hitchhiker’s Guide series, which basically means that the books aren’t going to have a plot, or a point. Well, I guess the lack of a plot, and a point, is a point i...

I think I missed the point somewhere... What was this installment even about? And why were there so many plot holes?!

I didn't enjoy this as much as the previous books. I found it very choppy and all over the place. Multiple times I was confused as to where the hell I was or what the hell was going on... which might be because I was listening to this in traffic and did get a bit distracted every now and then... bu...

When I first read this book I loved it namely because I happened to be a hopeless romantic and our protagonist, Arthur Dent, finally gets a girlfriend. Well, finally is probably not the best way to describe it because Adams does raise the possibility that Arthur may have had a relationship with Tril...

Martin Freeman is certainly one of the wonders of the world! I absolutely loved listening to this on my daily work commute, and I didn't even notice traffic! The story itself is deceptively light and ridiculous, but he just made it so much better! Not only did he have a distinguishable "voice" for e...

I'm going to have to be honest here and admit that I really wasn't all that impressed with this book. In fact the story was originally meant to be a six part Doctor Who series which was rejected by the producers, and I can see why – it just really didn't seem to be what I would expect from Doctor Wh...
