When Joel ran away from home to go to college and live a life of his choosing, he didn't expect to run into Ben- literally. Joel comes from a strict, conservative family whose views and wants for their children had already driven away his brother. Joel doesn't want his love of music to fade away and applies to an out of state college in secret and runs away in order to attend.

His first day of class, he meets Ben- a handsome, lonely, and friendly guitarist who all but declares himself Joel's friend right away. Both share a love of music and instantly play well together, but Joel soon finds himself thinking their partnership could be more than just musical, and Ben hints that the attraction is mutual. After an open mic night gone wrong, Joel now has to come to terms with how far from home he is and what that means for his life. Is he ready for his first boyfriend?
