This was a fun book that, even if the story behind it is kind of wild, had the positive side effect of getting me to look at a bunch of famous paintings to see what Brown was talking about. This is a case where the book is much, much better than the movie.

Over rated.I read it to see what the hype around it was all about. Some parts were well written, the majority however was not.Dan brown deliberately misleads at certain points. Borrow it if you have to, but buying it is a waste of cash and bookshelf space.

Horrible, trite writing. Unoriginal conclusion. Overly contrived character motivation. Just awful.

I really enjoyed this book, although I found it a bit alarming that Mr. Brown seems to believe much of this work of fiction. It was very exciting, and I enjoyed the return of Robert Langdon from Demons and Angels. When all the scandal surrounding this book popped up I watched the movie and could not...

2.5 stars. i really enjoyed the historical stuff, the alternate views of religion and why religions developed the way that they did (as far as traditions and belief systems), and the story was okay. again, like in angels & demons the who-dun-it part was over the top and there was just no need to g...
