Good book, although I felt the last ~50 pages or so were rushed, and the whodunit reveal rather forced. But the main/viewpoint character is likable and sympathetic, and his evolving relationship with his ex was engaging.

This was a short, but quite good read. I am really liking Josh Lanyon's style. It's a romance, but not all sexed up and the mystery is genuinely good. I'll read more of his stuff for sure.

Some disjointed thoughts to put out there... I found this to be compelling, but at first it felt like Tucker did less than his job out of residual anger at Elliot. Also, I would have liked to have seen more from Tucker's PoV, but it did fit in with Lanyon's usual style, so I knew I'd get something f...

This was a terrific book. Heavy on crime investigation and mystery, it kept me speculating as to who committed the murders. Whoa, I would've never had guessed. Excellent sexual tension between Eliot and Tucker. These are flawed men, good at their jobs, lousy at their personal lives. The author m...
