To be able to be leaders we must be obedient followers. We have to learn to walk in the footsteps of those that have gone before us. We must be more like Jesus, the perfect leader. To influence those around us, we must be humble. We cannot lead with arrogance. Ultimately, the success of or leadership will be determined by the degree of love that we have for our fellow men. Elder Owen taught me that love unfeigned is what made so many people naturally follow the savior, and will be the keep to our leadership as well.
